‘ORDERS’ AND ‘TRANSACTIONS’ - HOW TO INVEST AND VIEW INFORMATION ON THE CONCLUDED TRANSACTIONS

Functionality

The ‘Orders’ option will allow you to place sell / buy orders for securities and property rights with respect to fixing, extra time trading, continuous trading and over-the-counter trading. Additionally in case of currency accounts it is possible to place and cancel orders both on the futures and spot foreign markets.

The ‘Transactions’ option will allow you to view information on the concluded transactions. Information on the concluded transactions is divided into “Current Transactions’ and ‘Archival Records‘.



Orders


Orders - New
The New Order option will allow you to place buy /sell orders for securities and property rights. The form for placing a new order contains an extensive list of entries that can be used for placing an order:

  • security group - using a scroll list, select a market where an order is to be placed. The Warsaw Stock Exchange was selected as a default group,
  • security name - using a scroll list, select a security being the subject of an order,
  • portfolio - helps the Clients who have more than one portfolio within a single securities account handle derivative rights and property rights,
  • order type - using buttons on the right, define the ‘Transaction Type’:  buy or sell,
  • quantity - the ‘Number of Items’ text field is used to enter the quantity of securities being the subject of an order,
  • price - using the ‘Price’ scroll list, select a type of an order: limit, at any price, at market price, at opening market price, stop limit or stop loss,
  • advance payment amount - in case of a purchase order (for the Clients using the receivables limit), the advance payment amount that will be charged by Dom Maklerski while accepting an order the should be expressed as percentage. The Clients using the receivables limit will be able to adjust the advance payment amount, on condition that it is not below the advance payment amount specified in the agreement,
  • session date and order validity date - the Session Date option is used to specify the first session during which an order is to be placed, and the Order Validity scroll list to set the validity date of an order. You may chose among the following options: for one session, until, fill and kill, fill or kill, and good to cancel,
  • hidden size (volume) - additional condition. An order with a disclosed value is realised by stages. An order submitter will specify the volumes that are to be successively filled, that is, the volume of securities disclosed at a time,
  • minimum quantity (volume) - additional condition. To fill an order with a minimum volume it is necessary to specify the quantity of securities below which the disposition will be rejected by the Investor,
  • calculate profitability - the  Calculate Profitability option will allow you to calculate the profitability of a position that is being closed,
  • check balance - the Check Balance functionality will allow you to quickly view the account balance,
  • fast ordering mode - Fast Ordering/Cancelling under Your Profile – Other will allow you to cancel/ modify orders under the simplified procedure by submitting an order for the first approval (skipping the order summery screen).



Orders – Current Session
This option will allow you to view the orders placed during the session day. You will be able to cancel or modify orders. Dispositions to cancel/modify orders are carried out by Dom Maklerski depending on the stage of their realisation. Selecting the Cancel option will result in a conditional disposition to cancel an order, while the Modify option will allow for changing order’s parameters. The modification functionality does not apply to orders on foreign stock exchanges. Each disposition is confirmed by a separate message appearing on the screen.

Orders – Archived
This option will allow you to view all archival orders, that is, orders cancelled, realised or past their validity date - irrespective of their placing channel. While searching for information, you should specify the security name and time span, and next accept these parameters.

Orders – From Basket
This option will allow you to place buy/sell orders previously defined under the Settings – Orders Basket menu option. Basket orders are displayed in the form of a table that is used to place or cancel basket orders or change the date. In case of a bigger number of orders within the basket, operations can be carried out with respect to the groups selected by the Investor.

 


Transactions

Transactions – Current
The ‘Current Transactions’ option will allow you to view data on the transactions concluded during the on-going session. The data is displayed in a table.

Transactions – Archived
This option will allow you to view transactions concluded over last months. In order to retrieve the data, you will have to define the opening date and closing date of the selected period. You will be able to view both information on the current session and archival records, that is, orders realised and past their validity date. The data is displayed in a table.
